They say that the best camera is the one you have with you. And with lens and sensor quality improving with every new smart phone release, this statement rings true now more than ever. (No pun intended)
A couple of weeks ago as I was dropping the boys off at school, I noticed the thick fog rolling in off the bay. I didn’t have time to go home and grab my SLR, but I did have my phone on me.
A few short years ago, these results would not have been possible on a digital still camera, let alone a phone. So if you find yourself in a moment when you wish you had your camera of choice, don’t be afraid to use the camera you have.
