I am always on the lookout for new images to capture; I also explore new styles of capturing and editing images.

As you can imagine I look at hundreds of photos each and every week. Over the last couple of months I have been playing with some ideas for black and white images. Partly because I am always keen to improve, and partly because I am working on a new feature wall at home.

So armed with Google, Instagram and Youtube I set out to find new techniques, here are some of the results utilising iconic images of Sydney. This “High Contrast” technique isn’t for all types of images, but is very well suited to architecture.

Feel free to shoot me a line if you would like more information about this style.
